Ryunosuke Kamiki (TXQ FICTION)
File
"Ryunosuke Kamiki" is one of the works in the mockumentary horror series TXQ FICTION, and is the first to feature a celebrity in the lead role. While previous works in the series (such as "Looking for Ishinagaki Kue" and "Apologies to the Iinuma Family") realistically depicted fictional characters and events, this work features a real-life celebrity at its center, further blurring the lines between reality and fiction.
Story Flow
Episode 1: Teru-chan House
The story begins with footage released at Ryunosuke Kamiki's 30th anniversary event in show business, "Kamiki Garden."
The footage shows Kamiki himself, along with a film crew, visiting the haunted spot "Teru-chan House."
In this abandoned building, there is an eerie poster with "Teru-chan" scrawled on it, which triggers the following phenomena:
• A rubber baseball suddenly appears in the hallway
• Unexplained sounds resembling human voices
• A black figure appears during prayer
• Kamiki's leg is pulled by something
However, after the screening, it was revealed by Kamiki himself that all of this footage was a staged mockumentary.
The only exception is the poster with "Teru-chan" written on it, which is said to be real.
Furthermore, it was suggested that there was an unreleased video containing "a certain letter."
Episode 2: The Existence of Teruhisa Mizushima
Presented as unreleased material is a letter allegedly written by a child actor named "Teruhisa Mizushima." The letter contained the ominous sentence, "I might be killed someday."
Using this letter as a starting point, Kamiki begins an investigation into the existence of Mizushima Teruhisa.
Information revealed through the investigation:
• A child actor who was active around 1980
• Has appeared in commercials and dramas
• Believed to have died around 1982 (at the age of 10)
However,
• Many of those involved at the time were unaware of his death
• An inexplicable situation emerges where there is almost no contact information or records remaining.
Furthermore, in past footage, Mizushima himself says, "I will not grow up,"
which, combined with the contents of the letter, creates a strong sense of unease.
Episode 3: The Maehara Family
The investigation progresses further, leading to a connection with a former resident of a certain abandoned building (Teru-chan House) who is believed to be the recipient of the letter.
The following facts were revealed:
• The homeowner is "Maehara Shoichi"
• The family consists of a couple and a child
• The child's whereabouts are unknown
Furthermore, the following items were discovered inside the house:
• A letter that read "Please don't look for me" (signed by Maehara Nobuko)
• A portrait of a baby (signed by Maehara Akihisa)
• A photograph of a young woman and a baby
Of particular importance is the fact that Maehara Akihisa and Mizushima Teruki were born in the same year and share the same name.
In addition, a photograph of a woman holding prayer beads and a child was discovered, and it is speculated that the woman is "Inui Yoshiko," who is said to be the president of Mizushima's management agency.
Furthermore, testimonies from those involved revealed:
• Inui was not the president but more of a "fortune teller"
• Mizushima's mother was a forceful person
These are just some of the testimonies that surfaced regarding the behind-the-scenes aspects of his entertainment career.
Ultimately, an interview with a person believed to be Mizushima's brother suggests that Mizushima Teruhisa's death is likely to be real, but the cause of death remains unknown.
